Finals

Another semester comes to a conclusion this week at GMU. My compilers final is Tuesday at 430, followed by Software Engineering Wednesday at 730. After this semester is officially over, I'll have 4 classes left: Algorithms, CS Senior Elective and a Science sequence.

R.I.P. Sean Taylor

Very troubling, is the news of Redskins defensive back Sean Taylor, who was shot and ultimately killed inside his home early Monday morning. Taylor attended college at the University of Miami and being an avid fan of FSU, I saw him play quite a bit in college and the NFL. He was truly a force to be reckoned with and seemed to be maturing as a man and father. Rest in peace, #21.

Back in Action

After a chat with DC Dan, I have decided to make an attempt to blog more often. Blogging has been something I've been interested in for quite some time and I do read quite a few blogs. I realized one thing I really enjoy is learning and sharing things with others. Look for more posts on potentially any topic in the future!

Weather

Am I the only person absolutely disgusted with the weather these days? I can handle some April showers, but the bitter cold/snow is really starting to get to me. Not only does this type of weather breed sickness, but it sucks when you can't spend comfortable time outside in mid-April. Here's one person's hope that May is better.

Fantasy Baseball 2007

This weekend I will be participating in 3 Fantasy Baseball drafts. Friday night is my Yahoo league with friends from Florida. Saturday afternoon will be Roto Rooters, a league with various owners across the U.S. Sunday afternoon is the High Cheese draft, the league which I manage. Overall, I feel good about my preparation this year. I am looking forward to drafting teams that will hopefully allow me to make a run at the money in each league.

The time has come to make the semi-annual trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. The girlfriend and I are headed out a day earlier than everyone for a little together time, aren't I sweet? Looking forward to a booze and gambling filled weekend, returning on the red eye Sunday night, just in time for class. Pictures and debauchery to come...

Super Bowl

Was personally not pleased with the SB commercials this year, anyone else feel this? Thought the game itself was rather boring. However, was happy to see Manning and Dungy get their due. Two class guys who deserve to go down in the history of the NFL. Colts should have won by at least 3 touchdowns.

Busy week this week, with lots-of-assignments in class and a trip to Sin City on Thursday. Someone save me, please.
